Just bought a new cellphone. How do I go about selling my old cellphone on ebay?

Is there anything I should know? Should I put anything special in my ebay posting? I had it replaced right before I bought my new phone, so this phone only has about 4 minutes of calltime on it. Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

Okay, that's probably a little smart-assed, but I'm not sure what you're asking. The usual way you sell something on eBay is to write a description, throw in a pic, set a price, and hit Sell.

If I were selling it, I would include a pic of the actual phone, the reason you're selling it (you got a new one) be honest about how you've treated it, and offer the ESN for the person to check with VZW to make sure it's not on a stolen list.

Happy selling.

that is what I would do also, or, you could just keep that phone and put it in your closet to use as a back up if your new phone breaks down, or you lose it.

Here is a warning for anyone that may buy a used phone off ebay or anywhere else, make sure it is E911 compatible, as if it is not, verizon will not activate it.

FALSE!!!! I just activated my old StarTAC last night through Verizon's website and I made a couple calls with it to see if it still worked. And it isn't E911 capable.

No, it was either an error with your ESN, or an error with the system that will surely be corrected soon.

I don't know about always being able to do it but it was not error in the system. Have you ever upgraded a customer that was non compliant into a compliant ph. Then the customer changes there mind?? According to your statement then the customer is forced at that point to take the ph and is not able to exercise their 15 day period????? Well COOS can fix it and put thier old ph back on the acct. even though it is non compliant. EROES will not let in store reps do this but COOS and Online can
