Verizon Wireless rebate for the Nokia 6256i?

Does Verizon Wireless (not Nokia, not the retailer) offer a rebate for the 6256i?

I haven't bought the 6256i yet. There isn't a Verizon Wireless corporate store near me, so I plan to get it from maybe Best Buy or Radioshack or even an internet e-tailer.

I have tried looking for a rebate form on www.verizonwirelessrebates.com but it can't get any information without a UPC code.

Does anyone know if there is a rebate for the phone from Verizon Wireless? Or the right UPC code? Thanks.

No rebate. Not an available phone for Verizon Wireless direct. Indirect channel only. See your local indirect channel.

And also...see the 20 dollar activation fee thread to see why you should forget about direct stores anyway. They are shady sales people that are only trying to make a buck and not actually help the customer. Come see an indirect agent. Where are you anyway? Near centreal PA?

you know, i love reading these. all i hear is how the direct stores don't know anything and are shady. we have policies. we dont like the 20 dollar fee but we have to follow it. also, maybe its just in my area but the people hate going to indirect stores because of how rude most of them usually are. i'm not saying everybody is cause that would be stupid of me to put all indirects in one category, just like putting all direct employees in one category. most direct employees around my area are very helpful to customers and pretty knowledgable. we better be after 3 weeks of initial training and constant other trainings all year long. but mostly i just can't stand being put into a "category" because you didn't like you sales rep or something lik...

I get tired of customers coming into my store saying that the sales reps at the local direct store say all we sell is "junk". I get tired of VZW themselves putting deals out that as an indirect I cannot make any money on. I got tired of the numerous posts on here that the indirect agents are shady and only after the almight dollar.

Now, that being said. OK, maybe I shouldn't generalize. And yes, I do know there are shady dealers. There is one around here that still sells used phones to a customer that will think this phone is new. I saw one deal where the customer went into an agents location to get a plan change and the agent entered this as an upgrade putting a dummy ESN on each line and then putting the customer's original ESN ba...

i definetally understand where you are coming from. yes there are reps like that, and i can't stand it because it gives the rest of us a bad name. i try as hard as i can to help the customer in the best way possible. i think the problem mostly is the customers come to us telling us how bad the indirects are, then they go to you telling you how bad the directs are. i say we stop going at eachother and blame the one responsible....the customer...lol j/k

🤣

True. But then again, I really think that ones that post on here seem to be the more educated reps. It seems like since we read about these customer's horrer stories of bad customer service, we try to help the customer that much more...regardless of what channel we work for.

Of course you still have those that post on here calling customers retarded and ignorant and idiots...

true. although customers do need to start taking responsibility for their actions. they think that we should bow down and kiss their feet when they walk in screaming. i will never act like that when walking into another store, no matter how mad i am. because i know that it's not what you say, its how you say it. you may have a valid point, but when you walk in yelling, no one is going to hear it. it just goes in one ear and out the other. not only that, but that is when human nature hits. when a person feels attacked they are going to defend themselves. i already made a thread about this called "a little courtesy", people just need to treat each other better
