AIM for treo650 or blackberry for verizon
Will the data plan included with either the treo650 or blackberry for verizon give you unlimited messaging for AOL IMs also are there any software downloads that work better than others for each, as well as alowing AIM messaging without being charged for txt messages

No the umlimited data packages do not include text or pix, only web brousing and email. You would still need some sort of text plan for AIM.

I am a dealer for VZW and love selling their far superior products and service. However, this is one area that I think they need to rethink. My VZW rep asked us some things that we thought VZW could change to sell more data. AIM for 7 bucks with unlimited use included. Unlimited use of mobile web...airtime free. Quit charging airtime to picture message. You would see so many more people sign up for these things. VCAST including airtime? Sure...but you wanna text via AIM...for most users that would be another 10 to 20 bucks a month ON TOP of that 15 for VCAST. I just get most that say it just isn't worth it. But I sell a ton of the data packages on another carrier that includes unlimited use of AIM.
