Is it true that when a customer escalates to a supervisor...

Hello Verizon Reps. Guess what I found out today? I can call anytime I want, as much as I feel like and get a credit for $25.00 dollar for whatever then hell the reason may be. Now here's the best part. Why can I do that? Because I know that as customer I have the right to beg for money for things such as late fees, valid charges, roaming, long distance, calling plan changes, and the list goes on.

I am always late and your contract says I have to pay for them but why would I when I can take advantage of it for 11 months in a row?

Wow, you're a cool guy. I'm not going to get into an argument here, but I can't even begin to tell you how many lies/inaccuracies I can point out in your statments. Any true VZW rep on here will know exactly what I'm talking about, but hey, if you want to be the badass and make yourself feel better with idiotic statments like yours, then who am I to stop you? Wow! I wouldn't even wish a person like you on Cingular.

I found out that none of the reps you talk to really care what you do once you get off their phones.

So you can get the bank handed to you by a supervisor (it's their butts on the line) and the rep isn't going to care because (thankfully) you are off their phone and they are free to talk to other customers or laugh at you........or both.

It's not as personal as you think it is. You are not talking to a VERIZON WIRELESS machine when you call that 800#. You are talking to a human being who (in most cases) couldn't care less whether you get what you want or not. Unless you are mean to that person and even in that case, 2 hours later, you're just another mobile telephone number. So your purpose in posting this is what....?

I don't know what part of the country you live in, but none of the above would happen at my call center. Good luck with wasting your time calling customer service for credits. We have tools that we use to tell us how much of a credit we should issue a customer in situations such as the above mentioned. Anything over and beyond that needs to go to a supervisor which, in most cases, will back the rep up.

I remember jerks like you at dish. I used to work in Customer Mgt. Opterations. We used to review accounts like yours, 300.00 in adjustments over 6 months. 40 programming changes in one month. PPV disputes, returned checks all that. Man I used to have so much fun shutting these accounts off. Then we'd Redline the accounts, so they were always routed to either us, or our executive offices. I loved you guys.

Guys, I think this a CSR venting. Personally, I wouldn't give a dime for any of these reasons, but that's just me.

Gotta agree. They're either tired of hearing customers ask for credits, or has a sup that caves in to custs rather than backing up the CSR. I had a sup like that when I worked in T-Mo's call center. All the cust had to do was confuse him, and he would give them a credit, and this guy was PREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTY easy to confuse. 🙄 He'd been demoted from manager for that reason. But the way this poster is speaking doesn't sound like a legit cust bragging about how awful he is.

you know what. i like people like this. because when they come into the store again or call into the center trying to pull this again, the notes already show that they've been informed of how things worked, so when they bang out a huge long distance or roaming bill again and try to get out of it, it clearly states that we can't and we get to tell the person NO!. we then laugh when he leaves. not to say we're bad people but we like to see people get what they deserve when trying to screw people over.... 😁
