My Razr V3c does not have full OBEX. I am not sure why everyone keeps saying theirs does. What software/firmware version has the full OBEX?

All of the profiles, beside headset, require OBEX.

What are you talking about??

That is what I was talking about - my razr does not have OBEX File Transfer. It can pair with another phone but does not allow any type of file transfer. I am assuming since some people claim theirs does they must have a different software version than I do.

You can transfer ringtones, pictures and videos over the RAZR Bluetooth.

If you get Mobile Phone Tools, you can also synchronize calendar and contacts.

What you can't do is push files from phone-to-phone, like you can do with Cingular phones.

See " Holly Cow....full OBEX RAZR V3c simply using bluetooth enabled laptop"

when I paired my RAZR(alltel version) to my nokia 6255i(alltel version) I did not have to put in no stinking passcode.

Yet another deal of an indirect giving out wrong info! đŸ¤Ŗ just joking

The RAZR is NOT, I repeat, NOT "full ebex"...yes a good bit of the phones from the 1st shipment and 1st shipment only were not correct and did/are allowing the obex usage!

But it is not correct to be telling people or selling the phone that it is "full obex"! The ones that got one w/o the limits are very lucky, period! Can you take it to the bank that the 1st "update" will include the correct seems etc. to remove it as well as cover whatever screw ups are there!

If your one of the lucky ones that have it, if you do not want to lose it, do not take your phone into a store for any service at all! The phone WILL BE flashed to correct it!
