I know that when you use AIM, each message is charged as a text message. Can anyone tell me if you have VCast is it still the same, or is it unlimited like the Web 2.0?? And also for anyone that has VCast, is it worth getting at $15/mo?? What do you really get out of it?? Thanks!

I am pretty sure they count as a text msg even with vcast. call and ask though..

i don't think vcast is worth it, they will let you try it out for free for 30 days, try that and see for yourself.

AIM alerts are charged at the standard text messaging rates...10 cents to receive. Of course you can get a messaging package...

I spent three years on the 800 line. Take my word when I say...

AIM over a phone is the #1 cause of obscene TXT message charges. It is not uncommon at all for AIM users to have TXT charges exceeding $100+/month, and that's WITH the $19.99 2500 message package.

The best thing I can tell you is, leave AIM at home on your PC.

I honestly love the $15 dollar VCast package. It is really good for me because it also includes unlimited Mobile Web usage, therefore it doesn't use airtime to be on the mobile web. That allows me to have a cheaper rate plan due to not using minutes to surf the Mobile web.

Plus, the content of the actual video clips continues to increase. Not anything spectacular, but it is really good.
