Off-Peak hours

I'm presently with Sprint and I've been considering switching next month once my contract is up. I've had Sprint for 4 yrs but recently I've been getting more and more dropped calls and my signal strength is good. So one of my co-workers suggested I try Verizon and I've looked at the rates which are competitive but I DON'T LIKE the unlimited nights starting after 9 instead of 7 p.m has anyone heard of Verizon moving thier time up like some of the other carriers?

No, we don't need to change our night time minutes. We have free In-Network calling and superior coverage.

While albeit that is a curt answer, "85" speaks truth. If a change like that ever does happen, Verizonwireless.com would be the first place you'll see it and you know you can call up and ask for it IF it be comes available.

There is a reason Sprint has to offer 7PN night start time... they are loosing business bad so they are trying to stop the bleeding.

VZW has based it's off peak hours on cell traffic. 9-6 and weekend is the time our systems have the least amount of usage. During that time our towers are never overloaded. With our number of customers, if we offered 7pm nights, you would see a drop in call quality during those times.

I envision a future where there are so many cell sites and such extensive coverage area that cell phones will become like landline phones. Free incoming, unlimitited anytime, $50/month per line, free roaming... etc...
Ten years from now that might be a reality...

Yea, do you know anyone who gets commission selling landline service?

When it happens I'm sure you'll find something else to sell, like timeshare, or beachhouses in Colorado...
