My old phone is recieving text that are being sent to my new phone. Am I being charged twice for this? Also is it a fraud issue for this happening.

yah, the friends that are texting you are frauding you! 🙄

no double charges, power the phone off and pull the battery for 5 mins, or just replace your mtn in the old phone with 000.000.0000

not that they are frauding me but i know there are laws against cloning and communication interception and if they could see text going to 2 different places much like cloning that could possibly be considered fraud. Is there anyway to track or monitor that via the network or is it a fluke?

fluke but not really, happens more than one would think. more or less the result of your old phone being on when the new one was activated and getting the 1st prl etc. It will stop sooner or later or you can just do as the 1st post said

yep, I was confused the first time this happened, but the old phone should remain off while processing the upgrade. What advice you were given in this thread is correct as to how to fix your situation.

Oh, but my friend did get arrested and charged with phone cloning until she was released 20 days later when they realized what happened. So I would lay low for a little while...

Well, there were no "eyes rolling" smileys or anything to indicate sarcasm. I couldn't tell.

OK...I just wanted to see any takers...

Wouldn't that be funny though?

You are in jail next to a murderer awaiting trial...they ask you what you are in the joint for...would you actually tell? LOL
