VRZN want family business?
My AC plan is the 500 min/$49.99 a month
One current AC Family plan has shared 500 min and is $59.99 (+$10 a month from my AC plan) plus $20 + taxes for the 2nd or more line(s). WHAT ADDED VALUE IS THAT? NONE? 👿
A year ago they had a 800 shared minute ACF plan that was $59.99 + 20 + taxes. 😲
I get the feeling Verizon doesn't want any family business. What deals have they been offering behind the scenes?Has anyone got a sweeter deal from them? BTW- I don't give a hoot about calling other family members so that means nothing to me.
I'm currently Mo/Mo with them and looking for something back...

Are you sure you are using http://www.verizonwireless.com
I just ran through three California zip codes and the rate plans are coming up $39.99 for 400 min, $49.99 for 500 min, and $59.99 for 800 min. That is the exact same pricing structure listed here for the east coast area.
Also a family share on VZW for 800 min anytime shared is $59.99 on the primary and $20.00 for the 2nd line. Total price? $79.99
Also why doesnt a wireless carrier bill you additional minutes to roam? Simple. That service you are using does not belong to the carrier. Example: I roam using my VZ...

In my zip code here in CA 94022 the 500 ACF plan is $59 and the 800 ACF is $69. Are we being taken ;)?
Consumers should be aware of the cross licensing agreements and make them work in their favor. I've shut roaming down on my phone, if I don't get a signal I'll just stop and use my 2.9 cents a min USA/CAN calling card.
Thanks

OK. I just went on http://www.verizonwireless.com and entered your zip code - 94022, Los Altos, CA - and got...
America's Choice 500 - $49.99 + $20 Add'l line
America's Choice 800 - $59.99 + $20 Add'l line
We're not sure what you're looking at but whatever it is, it's not right.
Thanks for pointing that out.
59.99 + 20 for each of the secondary lines gives you 800 shared minutes between the lines, unlimited nights and weekends on each line, unlimited family calling between each line on the account. The primary line gets the Unlimited In-Network calling for free.
69.99 + 20 for each secondary line gives you the exact same thing, except that by paying the extra $10 per month, any and all of your secondary lines are upgraded from family calling to also have the Unlimited In-Network calling to any Verizon Wireless user just like the primary line.
Call your rep, and they'll set you up. 800-922-0204.
Thanks

I want to add my parents onto my Verizon plan but I don't see any value in doing so. I like my service but it is expensive.
