Best Buy Phones - Best Hacking

What are the best deals out there on a VzW phone are far as price vs. feature? And, what are the easiest phones to hack back to full functionality? I know VzW likes to water down their phone functionality, and disable lots of features to push you into their services, I'd like to get around all of this BS.

I just picked-up 2 LG's, a VX5200 for my kid, and a VX8100 for the Mrs, are these OK. After rebates, both phones together will run me $50 out-of-pocket, but are these worthwhile, or should I get another brand?

if you're looking to unlock a handset you'll want an 815. Phones with the manufactures OS can be hacked, if they have the new VZW OS (RAZR, 8100, 950) the phones don't even know they're able to do OBEX or anything of the like.

The e815 is also arguably a better phone, check the phone scoop reviews, I am getting one today! Good Luck

I am loving the E815. And I'm using it with USCC even though it's still "tentative" for them.

So the Moto E815 would be a much better choice? Is VzW running any specials on this phone, like B1 G1 or buy the e815 and get something else free or cheap?

I tried out the E815 at the VZW store when upgrading my VX7000. I was really unimpressed with the cheap feel of the phone myself. While I am sure it is a great phone the VX8100 seemed like a better fit for me.

The E815 would probably not survive in my line of work as it appeared and felt less rugged. But that is just my opinion.

I recommend the VX8100 to anyone. I have no experience with the 5200's.
