How many interviews?
I had a second interview last week after I submitted my resume to a VZ store. It appeared to go extremely well and they said the next step would be to set up a third interview and perhaps one in corporate.
Am I being interviewed for a sales job or what?
I am a very experienced salesperson who has, in retail, exceeded my $150,000 quota by 85,000 each year.
Is this standard procedure?

Dude....if you are that good, why didn't they offer you the job on the 2nd interview ??? With Verizon Wireless, it doesn't matter if you are experienced....it all depends on HOW you answer their questions OR how good you look....TRUST ME

I went through 3 interviews. one with the store manager, one with the district manager, and one with HR. Funny thing is, I was coming from the other side of the company (Verizon Communications) and they still made me go through all 3. oh well, I got the job.
