AC and LG VX6000

Friend of mine needs to know what the national coverage (Americas Choice) is like with the VX6000 (CDMA 800/CDMA 1900 - NO AMPS).

Is there a map of digital only coverage or is the entire AC digital so that the VX6000 will work where its red/pink?
Also, is the mobile to mobile map they have in the AC brochure the digital coverage verizon owns?

My friend says thank you in advanced.

The LG 6000 will only work in the red area on the coverage map. The pink area is the analog area.

And yes, the M2M or IN-network map is the coverage Verizon owns.

Whoa, does that mean that the gold area is where M2M works only????

I don't think that you have that quite right. Go to Verizon's website and under the "support" tab there is an option called "coverage locator". You can put in your zip code and it will show you a color coded map showing digital, extended digital, analog, and extended analog areas.

The 'gold area' or enhanced service coverage is where In-Network calling can be applied, along with several other features under the 'enhanced service' umbrella.

I understand that. I was talking about the areas where analog vs. digital signals are available, which doesn't have anything to do with the enhanced services map except that all of those areas are digital for 1XRTT data. 🙄
