Over 50 million yet????

Juss wondering if anyone knows the current costumer count... the website says 49.3 million, but the site has been stating that for 3 months now.......can anyone help?

It will be changed when the results from previous quarter are released (approximately every 3 months).

gotta wait til the results are released for last quarter....it has said that for 3 months because that's when they released the last set of results....if you are so interested, I suggest you walk around with a clipboard asking everyone you meet if they have VzW. Once you've asked everyone in the country, count the tally marks......by then the q4 results should be out so you can read em in your wall street journal.

Pretty much a given that they've broken 50 mil by now... they've been adding at a rate of around 600,000 customers a month for most of the year, and they were at 49.3 mil three months ago.

4th quarter results come out in'a couple of weeks, Verizon will probably report being at around 51 mil customers then.

Also, their execs are already using the 50 million figure freely in speeches... here's one of 'em at the CES show early this month:

I think it's a huge milestone that i'm sure has been reached by now given the rate that customers have joined vzw recently.

Verizon confirmed they got their 50millionth customer awhile ago...
