Ok, the 8100 was pulled temporarily to add the VCAST music (v06) software onto it and therefore it won't be available again until Monday, which is when VCAST music launches. Well....VCAST music will also be available on the 950 and Samsung even introduced the "re-relase" of it for Monday, so why has IT not been pulled to add this software? Why is it still available? I know in all the VCAST Music info it states that if you already have these two phones, you can bring them in and get them updated, but that still doesn't explain why the 8100 is temp. unavailable and not the 950. Just incredibly curious.

Why does it matter? It'll be out on Monday. Live with it.

Dude, is this not just a bit harsh way to deal with a customer/prosective customer??? 🤭

I dunno, perhaps. If she called in I would be more than polite. After talking to me, she might even get the impression I care. But online I prefer the sweet release of honesty. Her post was retarded. Like there's some conspiracy to keep the 8100 out of her hands. Please. It was held back for the exact reason stated, to update for V-Cast Music. It will be available again on Monday. The 8100 will be the most popular phone to use that service (although I'm pretty certain V-Cast Music will be a HUGE failure...Push To Talk anyone?), and to be ready for it, all the handsets are being updated in advance. End of story.

Mary, I'm not sure what area you are in, but in the NE area, the 8100 is out of stock, which is why it was pulled. Some areas are running a sale on the 8100, some have bogo's, therefore the stock is very low with the 8100 and now on the 950s. 😉

Same here in the Midwest, my guess is they've been using the V-Cast music thing as a cover for not having enough 8100s in stock. Course that's just a guess. I'm pissed cause those were pretty easy phones to sell and rarely had issues or customer complaints about them. Oh well, they'll be back soon I'm sure.
