Data Cables?

On the Verizon accessories site, it looks like you can only buy a data cable in a $30 package which includes a CD and headphones.

1) Is this correct, or can I buy the cable alone for less?

2) If so, where can I do this?

3) What is on the "V-Cast Music Essentials Kit" CD that I need? Won't it work to transfer without that?

Thanks in advance!

i think you can by direct-from-manufacturer or after market data cables cheaper. where I do not know. The music kit will have the sw for phonebook calender syncing (heresay) as well as Windows Media Player 10 (need xp to load it). Need WMP10 to sync phone to computer. be sure to have the phone flashed to 07 sw to play the WMA's.
