V710 cancelled?
a couple of people in the General forum claim that the phone was not approved by Verizon. I did my best to contact people from both Verizon and Motorola. Motorola claim its coming out by the end of this month, or early july. Verizon say that they don't have it on their list of approved handsets, but they also do not know if it will or will not be approved, or the date of its release if it is approved.
So much confusion... Does anyone else have reliable information on whether or not it will come out or not?

I actually went so far as to purchase a T-Mobile 2 week trial (bluetooth and european capability)...and then went to see about cancelation of verizon. Combination of T-Mobile miniscule coverage plus info from Verizon boss (who happend to be working) made me decide to back off. I mean, coverage is the Thing, and verizon's is pretty good.
Anyhow, the V710: he told me mid-June and that indeed they had to reject the original design, but for an interesting reason. Apparently, it was only in a camera model and auto companies in the detroit area, and others, were not allowing any camera phones even in the buildings. That, plus other places (spas, healthclub locker rooms, etc) made them decide that they had to have a choice. That put Motorola's ...
