New Verizon Razr and themes
So, I just got the Razr yesterday and I've noticed that the themes do not change. There are a few available in the set up, but even after shutting down and turning back on, the theme remains the ugly red verizon theme.
Does anyone know if this is an OS level issue, i.e. I'm screwed until a firmware update, or is this a phone-level issue where I can take it back and get a different one?
Any idea if calling verizon support will help or not?

The theme change option is to change the color of the screens. No matter what theme you choose you will still have the red bars or if your not talking about the red bars but rather the red screen you get when powering on/off, either way it is not an issue and will never be updated as this is the new Verizon UI and will be on all future Verizon phones.

Because I can't see that it changes anything. You can change the wallpaper and such, but changing the theme doesn't affect anything at all, so it's confusing.
I don't mind the v-cast startup thingy, but it would be nice to make the display screen a little customized, outside of just changing the wallpaper.

It does change the color of the screens like the screen while dialing, menu screens, all background color is changed based on which theme you choose.

Yep, unfortunately that is the way it is. All it will do is add another ugly grey bar below the hideous red bar. It ruins having the razr for me so much I gave it to the wife and went back to my Nokia 6256i.
