i managed to destroy my vx4000 in record time. I had it for a month and a half..since the one before it the screen just decided not to work..and went black. Now I've broken up all my glass and i was wondering if i took it back..would i get a 4400 or sumthing new..i've heard that they discontinued it.

Well, ultimately the phone you get to replace your 4400 is up to your insurance company. Usually the rider says something like "in the event that the exact model is not available, your phone will be replaced with similar equipment of like kind and quality". Do keep in mind that if your insurance is through Lock\Line, they will only approve 2 replacements in a 12 month period. Hope that helps!
