Since you reported the last thread b/c your feelings got hurt! would you please tell me what a good ARPU is??? what is industry standard????

B/c it seems to me based on the #'s Vzw is at industry standard!!

i love how this guy claims to argue facts and stats but when confronted with a fact based question he has no reponse to his actions accept to have the thread deleted!!

Now to keep it on topic WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL WHAT A GOOD ARPU IS??????and what the industry standard is?????

The Average Revenue Per User rating is somewhat relative. A few years back, VzW had an ARPU goal of around $35, and this was at a time when there was little more than 32M customers. As the subscriber base grew, however, try splitting that amount up between 50M+ subscribers. This would cause some exponential gains.
There is no set amount that can be considered "good". Although, if you multiply the ARPU by the number of subscribers a company has, you get a pretty good idea of how much that company is making...

I rarely post in these forums. I just read silently while I'm at work. Yes I work for VZW. Arpu is important to vzw. We champion our net adds while we wish to be an arpu leader. Even though we are not thought as a price dropping company we did last year do just that with our family share plans. When we dropped our secondary lines from 20 to 9.99 that impacted our business. Sure we added on tons of lines but they were 9.99. We did push more for new adds with that agressive pricing. You will find that data arpu is a high priority for us. We don't want to just be the biggest but be the most profitable. 49 arpu is not impressive to us.We want that to be higher. You will find the products released recently will help raise that number. Thank you for an appropriate response! As far as Nextel18 goes 🙄 . Anyway, I also appreciate a good discussion involving wireless trends and the like and I always am willing to be proven wrong if it means I learn something! So once again thank you and happy selling!
