That is interesting that you bring up the merger. I have sprint right now and have for the past year. Since the merger took place, my coverage has gone downhill. I wasn't sure if it was because of the merger or some other reason. I am seriously considering going to verizon.
Wow, do you know why? (after the merger it all went downhill)

No, I am not sure. I used to have coverage at my house (although only 1 bar) and now I search for service frequently. -Lack of a network
-Poor customer service (I'm pre...

However, in the area where I live (Western PA) and the areas that I travel, Sprint cannot hold a candle to Verizon in terms of coverage.
I am out out of contract and am debating whether or not to exercize my NE2 and be stuck with Verizon for another two years or to switch to another network. In any case, I would not switch to Sprint; their coverage sucks in the areas I need it.
However, if Sprint works for you in the areas you need it, and if their calling plans and phones meet your needs, then stick wirh Sprint.
At the present time, there are no major wireless carriers that des...
