VCAST Music
I was just wondering what anybody's opinions are about the new VCAST music service. I'm hoping for real opinions from people who have used it or tried it. Considering that most of the people posting in this forum are just here to complain or tell Verizon how much our phones suck or how much better GSM service is... I really can't expect much.
We've had great luck with it in our stores and my employees have the service and seem to really like it... but I understand as employees they are also hyped up to sell it.
Anyone with anything constructive to say I really would like to hear what you have to say. To anyone who is going to just hop on here and trash Verizon , hope it makes you feel better.

have no real gripes abou VCM, don't really like the .wma format (file size is too large to get a good sounding file) Then again, The last time I had to use a .wma was years ago. Maybe the format's improved...

Well, I don't have VCAST in my area yet, but decided to try out the service by getting the music essentials kit and putting some on via the PC with the cable, just to see how the new service was. I was pleasantly surprised. I did buy a couple but added quite a few from my own collection and it was very easy and surprised to see that the ones I purchased still show the album cover on the screen (didn't think this would work without VCAST service, but it did) and my other ones showed the song title and artist name, pretty cool. I did not notice any sound difference at all between the WMA's and the MP3's. All sounded amazing. I think you would have to be an audiophile to notice a difference!

Thank you for your input Mary... anything you can think to help the service out, let me know, I work for VZW obviously and while I may not be able to directly change anything, any suggestions I get I always forward on up.
