I played with my friends V today and I really like it alot. But I have the Razr and cant get a phone for a while ☹️ But I was just wondering, I wouldn't really use (Sometimes I would) the full QWERTY keyboard. Is it worth getting? How would I get a new phone could I fake having a problem and getting a new phone instead? Thanks

Unfortunately, you wouldn't be the first customer to fake a problem in hopes of getting a new phone. In fact, it is so common, reps and techs usually see right through it. Try ebay..

faking wont help you in that matter. the are 2 different phones. i'd buy one outright or on ebay, then sell your razr on ebay to help make up the cost.

Actually, right now, the RAZR and the 9800 are going for about the same price on Ebay. So it would end up being a wash. The OP could buy one and sell the other and probably not lose much money, if any at all.

Buy it from a store, then your warranty is valid. Verizon does not have to support a phone that is not purchased through them directly. I just had to go through some major hassles because of this. Just buy it from a corporate store to be safe and then do what everyone else says and sell the razr on ebay, should sell pretty fast right now.

did you blatently say I GOT THIS PHONE FROM EBAY???? you got jolted my man. thats like them saying no to a phone you brough off a friend. an esn is an esn they cant tell if you bought it from ebay or not, unless you tell. or the phone you purchased was unlocked, reported broken, or stolen.

so you my man dot beat. i would have challenged them on that one.

i wasn't aiming to tell him how to profit from his razr but to basically do an even exchange. i did it with a few phones, and make up the cost buy selling the one i don't want on ebay. i'm not worried about profit but exchange.
