How long to upgrade software on v60s?
Just wondering how long it takes to have your local VZW store upgrade the software on a v60s. The store I went to last night told me 45 minutes, which I kind of find hard to beleive. I got there at 8:45pm, waited online for the service department until 9:05, then they said the y couldn't do it because the store closes at 9:30! I said "OK well I'll wait until it's done" but they wouldn't help me out. I asked to speak to a manager, but they said it wouldn't help. This store is the VZW Store on Central Avenue in White Plains, NY. I have *NEVER* had a good service experience there, but they are the only local store to where I live unfortunately.

They sound like a bunch of assholes to me. The actual download only takes a few minutes. It's unfortunate, because a lot of the techs are good guys who might have stayed late & done a simple procedure if you asked real nice.
Yeah I figured it only took a few minutes, 5 at most...but that they were just too lazy and obnoxious to do it. I'm going to try and find a VZW store near my job, bring it in first thing when no ones in the store and be done with it in 5 minutes.
