New Phone
I am up for a new phone next week and wanted to get everyone's insight on which phone to get from verizon. I really wanted to get the razr but I have been reading that it is very fragile. Is this really true?????????? I have decided against the 815 b/c I guess verizon isn't coming out with anything new for that. Would the 8100 be a good choice? I mean I really dont need the mp3 stuff b/c I already have an Ipod. Someone plz help!!!!

The think the build quality on the razr is quite good. If the razr is what you want you should get it. It has super clear call clarity and has a nice solid feel to it. I would not choose the LG 8100 I tried it, and in my opinion it does not pull as strong of a signal Choose what works for you. Take advantage of the trial period and try them both. Good luck 🙂

Go for the e815, i tried the razr and hated the verizon version of it, too many bugs and the menus lagged liked crazy. Im very happy with the e815, and the 8100 is pretty much a joke. Just my two cents.
Chris.
Or you could wait for the a930, might be worth it and it should be out in Q1.

Better make that E815 last, all verizon phones of the future will have the UGLY UI; the a930 will have the ugly UI. So they will all be the same. Verizon stripped us of countless choices. Just my .02 cents

I'm happy with my 815: Obex, unlocked TF card transfer, nice signal.
I have a few movies on my card... I'm sticking with it for now.

do you have full length movies or just clips? if full length then how did you get them so small and where did you download them from?
thanks

I have both. I'm using imtoo 3gp converter for the compression. An average movie is about 200mb. Go to www.imtoo.com. Did I answer your question?
...
yes, do you use your own dvd's to convert to 3gp or download 3gp videos/movies?
thank you
...
both. I convert dvds to avi and then convert avi to 3gp.
