Can anyone VZW Employees or Agents please tell me why when I travel to Indiana into US Cellular Territory, I solid roam? I have the VX4500, and VZW tells me it is becusae of my phone...well that is NOT true. Even when I had the 4400B, it still solid roamed in the area.

are u close to the ohio border?? i know sometimes close to the ohio, indy border you will switch over to roaming and on your bill it will come up roaming off of a southbend tower. let me know if this is what you are getting.

No, I am not near the boarder. My parents actually live in Galveston, Indiana which is clearly a US Cellular territory.
I just solid Roam when I am in that territory.

It says roaming because that is a roaming area. The roam rate, ($0.69/min on most plans) will apply. There is a band about 4 miles wide along a 27 mile stretch of hwy 18 that is a roaming area.
I'm sorry, if I could build a tower there I would for you, but for now it's roaming.
