I had a customer tell me that you guys have a phone that can answer or end a call with your voice. Is this true?

kinda. there are phones with voice activated dialing on them (ie, hit a button, say "call Bob", or "Call home" or "Call 303-5558120") some of them can be operated flip-down using a headset that has an answer/end button or a by bluetooth. as for ending the call, havin't seen any voice activated ending. just pressing the answer/end button on your headset.

You don't really have to end the call. When the other party hangs up your phone disconnects the call.

Not always....It does if you are on a call with someone who is on a mobile phone, but, a land line can hold onto a call much longer after the person actually hangs up -- thus racking up the minutes on your cell phone. You are much better simply hitting the button on your headset to end the call.

actually, my friend had a vzw phone that actually did answer by voice activating...it was a kyocera 3225 or 3245...in either case, it was about 2 yrs ago (maybe 3) and they dont make it anymore. the phone had to be on speaker phone...the phone didnt actually ring.....it would say, u had an incoming call..or something like that-- and it asked if she wanted to answer, she said yes and her convo began.....it was really, cool wonder why they stopped that stuff, would be nice.

There are phones that do this. For example the LG 6100, etc. Put the phone in driving mode, by holding down the left side button with phone flipped shut.

After the phone announces an incoming call over the speakerphone, it asks you if you want to answer the call.

If you have a headset attached, just say "yes" and it will answer on the headset.

Otherwise the phone needs to be left flipped open. For example, put the phone in driving mode, and clip it to your car visor leaving it flipped open. When you say "yes" to answer the call, it will connection on speakerphone.
