Verizon/Cell 2000 Query
I know I've had this question answered before but, I forgot.
Now that Verizon has bought out Cell 2000 and all Cell 2000 customers are now VZW customers... if an old Cell 2000 phone says 'Cell 2000...' on the banner rather than 'Verizon Wireless' would they be considered roaming?
I know VZW's current plans don't charge for roaming, just curious.
I'm also wondering if anyone knows of a way to fix that... get the banner to say 'Verizon Wireless' rather than 'Cell 2000'

no, u wouldnt be roaming...we bought out all of thier towers so dont worry about it...also, u cant chg the banner since it was originally provisioned that way by the manufacturer per cell 2000 request...that's something inside the phone...u can try bringing it to a vzw tech at a store but i'd have to say it cant be done...wont hurt to try tho.
