Quick question about voicemail
I'm new to Verizon and I noticed that checking my voice mail is not a free call during peak hours. Just out of curiosity.. what's the deal with that? And if I call my cell phone number from my cell phone during peak hours does it use my peak minutes or will it be free?

Calling vm from your own cell will use peak minutes. 2 ways to check it for free:
call your # from a landline and hit # to intrupt vm greeting
or if you are with another verizon user, call your # from their cell phone, as would bill free mob-mob.
