My phone is broke and my contract is up in a month....what to do?

My old LG is broken. Well, the hinge is cracked so now everytime it receives a jolt or if I close the phone it powers off. I can't power it back on unless I take out the battery first. Obviously I need a new phone.
I had been waiting in hopes that Verizon would come out with a new (good) PDA phone, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.
I travel a lot for work along the eastern states so I need a phone that works wherever I travel. I dropped Sprint a few years ago because their coverage was only there if I was in a big city and no where else.
So do I just get a temp phone in hopes that Verizon comes out with something worth while or should I just bite the bullet and change carriers. Obviously this is a loaded qu...

if you want the nu2 you have to sign a new two year agreement there is no gettign around that. as for a pda phone i like the samsung i 700 myself is a great phone. i have had nor hear any issues about this phone. the price is 599.99 on a two year and 649 on a 1year

yeah if you are a liar and a dishonest person like it sounds you are. good to know people like you are helping cusomters. oh and there is no way around getting a nu2 phone with out a new two year agreement

i'm neither a liar nor am i dishonest, i provided a viable solution to his dilemma so he can get a working phone in his hands, which is what he asked for.
