HELP ! ! ! Need Advice From A Knowlegible Rep.
Purchased two Samsung a 950s, during the 2-fer $99.00 special and activated them on two lines of a family share plan eligible for upgrade. Returned them on Feb. 17th because reception was terrible and because I picked up a used V710 which despite a bad rep. in phonescoop I think is the greatest phone I've ever seen. Purchase and return were made at a Circuit City VZW Corporate kiosk within the 15 day trial period, all paperwork is in order. what mwdavis says is correct however if you order it thru customer care you are not eligable for the online only deals (such as INSTANT rebates) waht is offered in care is instead a mail in rebate for the same ammount.
Just tell the customer service rep that you don't have internet at home and saw it online at a friends house. A good customer service rep will honor the website price.

They will fu*king not! I don't give a crap what the reason is they can't order online, the online price is for purchasing online PERIOD. It is not given out to people over the phone. One time in a year I saw a n00b Sup honor the online price. You're more likely to get Ne2 early* than to get online pricing over the phone.
*don't bother asking, 99.99998% of the time it will be "NO!" no matter how much you whine.
Thanks for driving prices up jackass

Your problem is you whine! Be nice you'd be amazed at what it gets you. The gave me the online deal right over the phone.(then I went to the store got the rebate form and bam! free phone!!) Any rep worth their salt will give it to you if you explain the situation and ask nice.
WTF are you talking about? I work for VZW you idiot. You called in a bitched and moaned and some moron who won't be working there for long gave you a price we're not permitted to give...great. But I assure you it ain't policy, and any rep who does it won't be working there for long. And I don't know when this supposedly happened (I'm sure it didn't), but system enhancements prevent reps from giving you this kind of...

Since I’ve complained about VZW Customer Service in the past, I felt it is only proper to report something positive when it is warranted.
Good customer Service Reps solve the customers problems. In this case Verizon came through.
