My situation:

Purchased two Samsung a 950s, during the 2-fer $99.00 special and activated them on two lines of a family share plan eligible for upgrade. Returned them on Feb. 17th because reception was terrible and because I picked up a used V710 which despite a bad rep. in phonescoop I think is the greatest phone I've ever seen. Purchase and return were made at a Circuit City VZW Corporate kiosk within the 15 day trial period, all paperwork is in order. After making the return I figured we would think about it a few months before doing any upgrades.

My Problem:

Saw RAZR today on web for $99 ($199 w/$100 online discount). Changed mind about upgrade and want to do it now. Tried on line upgrade but both lines which should be eligible ...

Good Luck!!!! I purchased 2 phones on-line and returned 1 phone---This was in December and I still cannot upgrade on line as of this date. 😡 Verizon's on-line ordering, in my opinion, should state YOU ARE STUCK WITH WHAT YOU ORDER, GOOD, BAD, INOPERABLE, ETC. MAKE VERY SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO TAKE THIS CHANCE BEFORE PUCHASING!!!!! 😢 👿 After threating to discontinue out service with Verizon, after 8 years and no late bills, and telling them that it is illegal to not give a credit card refund when merchandise is returned, we finally 1 1/2 months later obtained a refund. There was a phone special at Circuit City during this time period and Verizon has still not honored my request for this which I was eligible for. I was waiting ...

Call customer service 1-800-333-4233 and explain to them that you have returned your equipment within the 15 day return policy. But it appears that your upgrade date was not changed back on your account since you are unable to order the phones on line. The customer service agent can also order the phones for you rather than going on line.

what mwdavis says is correct however if you order it thru customer care you are not eligable for the online only deals (such as INSTANT rebates) waht is offered in care is instead a mail in rebate for the same ammount.

Just tell the customer service rep that you don't have internet at home and saw it online at a friends house. A good customer service rep will honor the website price.

They will fu*king not! I don't give a crap what the reason is they can't order online, the online price is for purchasing online PERIOD. It is not given out to people over the phone. One time in a year I saw a n00b Sup honor the online price. You're more likely to get Ne2 early* than to get online pricing over the phone.

*don't bother asking, 99.99998% of the time it will be "NO!" no matter how much you whine.

Only retarded reps would ever give the online price over the phone. You just stole money from the company.

WTF are you talking about? I work for VZW you idiot. You called in a bitched and moaned and some moron who won't be working there for long gave you a price we're not permitted to give...great. But I assure you it ain't policy, and any rep who does it won't be working there for long. And I don't know when this supposedly happened (I'm sure it didn't), but system enhancements prevent reps from giving you this kind of...

Called CS Ph# (888-294-6804) and was helped by a Rep. in the Cranberry Woods Call Center. She was fast, polite, efficient, helpful, pleasant, friendly, and MOST IMPORTANTLY… …SHE SOLVED MY PROBLEM.

Since I’ve complained about VZW Customer Service in the past, I felt it is only proper to report something positive when it is warranted.

I know it's a pain, but you will have to go into a store to make the purchase. The system will not be able to automatically process upgrades at the reduced price online until the returns register, however, the stores should be getting that RAZR sale price soon. Usually internet exclusive offers are only exclusive for the first few days of a sale. I'm sure you'll see ads for it when it's available. I can't say when, but it's coming soon.

See my earlier post. VZW CS took care of me. Registered my returns and I was able to do online purchase.

Good customer Service Reps solve the customers problems. In this case Verizon came through.
