I did not have a good experience with that phone, but I know many enjoy it. I bought one when first released and it had a horrible volume fluctuation problem. There have been several software updates and the problem seems to have diminished. I still believe it does not pull the signal the Motorola E815 or RAZR does. Take a minute and read the In Depth reviews on this site and their finding show the E815 with slight advantage in the RF dept. Hope this helps 😁

I have had all three, the 815 has best signal, 8100 2nd razr is third. I live in an area that is 0 or 1 bar. My 8100 ususally reads 0 bars but never drops calls there, the 815 reads 1-2 bars but drops calls every once in a while. the razr says 0-1 bars and dropps calls and goes in and out of evdo constantly. Out of the three the 8100 was my favorite, thinking of going back to it and ditching my razr until the samsung 930 comes out. The new software has fixed almost all of the volume issues people were complaining about. I will say if you plan on using a bluetooth headset the 815 worked best with my headset, but i just liked the display on the outside of the 8100, the video walpaper and other cool little things you culd do with that phone. It...

I've had mine for a good 3 weeks now. Really like the phone. I've had tones of phones over the last few years and I rank this one pretty high. Believe it or not, the V710 is still my favorite. This is far better than my last Samsung A670.

Like Gunny said, it did have an issue or two at the outset but most phones do. All the issues I read about have been resolved as my unit does not exhibit any issues. Just make sure that you have version 6 software updates. If it's new out of the box with VCast, it will have V6.

Solid phone. Feels sturdy. Natural feeling keypad.

The only thing that was kinda funky was pairing the Bluetooth headset. Read the manual before doing it. It has a not so obvious extra step with the up arrow.

I'm happy s...
