Man, I just love this phone! I have been checking this thing out since the first photos of it were released... I love the feel and look. Downside is I dont see it coming to CDMA soon... anyone know otherwise? I would pay far out the a$$ for one! LOL

Thanx guys.

I’m sure if you wait a couple more years’ verizon, will probably pick it up and act like it’s the new greatest thing. It will however have the great red bar verizon UI and no i-tunes, and crippled everything. That is something to look forward to. For everyone who is still confused verizon will never ever offer a cool phone, EVER! Not going to happen. EVER! There strength right now is their network, but once cingular catches up there will be know reason to stay 😎

Just to be sure I'm reading correctly . . . you're admitting that Verizon's network is superior, but that Cingular is catching up.

As of February 2006 I'll take the janky VZW phone and never drop a call. You can have the cool phone that functions as a paperweight about four times a day - I know because I just bought and returned a spectacular Cingular 2125 that disconnected me four or five times a day. I guess this is excusable as I only live in the eighth largest city in the United States.

And when Cingular's service compares to that of VZW in, say, two years when my contract is up, I'll make the switch.

I will concede that Verizon's phones lag terribly behind the GSM providers, and that the proprietary UI is weak. If you care ...

In Internet terminology, a troll is a person who posts rude or offensive messages on the Internet, such as on online discussion forums, to disrupt discussion or to upset its participants. "Troll" can also mean the message itself or be a verb meaning to post such messages. "Trolling" is also commonly used to describe the activity. For more discussion on definitions, see below.

I love how people are called trolls when others dont agree with them. Its just painful for some to hear the FACTS... 🤣

Well, Im not going to Cingular. Not an option.

Thanks for your expert advise though.

As I said, I will wait patiently for it to arrive (if it does) at VZW. Sh!tty interface and all.

It breaks down like this. This forum is full of brainwashed verizon fan boys, and thats cool we need them. I'm just here to even things out. I've read many threads where the fanboys weren't giving the straight answer to the detriment of the one seeking the answers. Thats not cool. Some of these die hard fanboys live in verizon land, where the sun always shines, they walk on Marshmallow streets, and there is always a rainbow in the sky. I believe verizon is a good company, but they have a lot of control freak ways and its getting worse and people should know.

I'm not brainwashed, thank you. I just like my VZW service. I don't have any problems with you liking TMobile or whoever. To each his own, right? Freedom of choice... isn't that what your gunning for? People choose different carriers for different reasons. Price, features, phones, service, etc. Someone on a fixed income might want a very slim priced plan and service since they won/dont travel. What if its an area specific issue concerning coverage?

There is NO perfect Wireless Service Provider. I tell each and everyone of my customers that. I also tell them to go with what works for the price they feel comfortable paying. Believe it or not, some people feel fine paying alot of money for services they can get at other providers for cheape...
