Well Omar, lets see... Cingular just released 2 new bluetooth phones as well...the Motorola V600 and Sony Ericsson P637, both bluetooth camera phones. And the Treo 600 is ALREADY HERE, and worldband GSM capable. We test just as rigorously, and have been recognized for it as well, but the fact is this, Omar: Phone vendors will put out more phones for what technology makes them the most, because they recover their R&D expenditures faster. That means they will develop GSM handsets much more often than CDMA handsets. Want numbers to support it? According to the EMC World Cellular Database, as of March 2004, there were 199 million CDMA subscribers worldwide. For that same timeframe there were 1.44 BILLION GSM subscribers. So what does it boil down to, Pimp? Verizon can't get their hands on a CDMA version soon enough to get their phones out with the GSM models?
