Hi all,

Does any one know if there are other phones in Verizon's current linup which share the same charge jack as a E-815?

Thanks,
Mark

yeah it was a joke...you should never have a two prong charging port like that, it was stupid 5 years ago, and even more pathetic now!

NOPE NOPE NOPE

The V325 takes the usb type. Same charger as the V3c. The current is the E815 and the V276 and V60p and V65p. Some older models were the V710/v265/v260/v60s/v60i/v120e/v120c/T720/T73 0...I am sure there were more, but my mind is drawing a blank all of the sudden.

However, I am sure the V325 takes a different charger then the V276. I quit carring the V276 a long time ago because of extremely cheap build quality. The V325 seems to be going well so far.

Oh...yeah...all the condor series with Nextel i30/35/60/90/95/85/88/58/80 etc...they all took the same 2 prong plug.

I have the V710 and have not had ONE charging issue. I found that as long as you plug the charger in and leave the phone sit to where the plug is not being stressed, then very few issues. If you pull on the cord, example: you are in your car and your cell's battery is near dead so you plug in the charger and stretch the cord so the phone reaches your ear...that is a number one cause of breaking either the charging tip of the plug, or the charging port on the phone.

why? the 815 (thankfuly) was the last phone to use the 9/69 type port. the usb (80) type seems more stable. now if they can fix the issue with the in-box wall chargers failing I'll have a much more merry xmas.
