I just recently got the new Motorola v325 from Verizon, and wow, just wow. This phone is everything I have wanted in a phone in so long.

Sturdy, a MANLY phone, big, weight is good, solid polymer grip, and hard to break.

Great camera for a non MP phone. Lack of flash is ONLY problem, if even a problem.

Tri-Mode Phone, Great reception so far, not a single dropped call, and I live in the middle of "analog country".

Loud ringers, and loud speaker phone, and loud ear peice volume.

Ring lights are just kool.

Front caller id.

USB port charger, not the old moto 2 prong crap charger port. Also allows MP3 capabilites for Ring Tones.

Has the new UI which I love so much (thank God ArmySF is gone LOL).

There is probably a lo...

So now that you got one, what you think? Oh and to make the rington\e lights work, all you have to do is change the Display theme from Default to any other (blue, business, or tropical, my personal fav) 😁

I really really like this phone. Cool I just set it to blue right out of the gate. I like the size and feel of this badboy. I like the black rubber outer edges and the old school mono front display, don't have to push any buttons to check the time. Like you said feels good against the face and much better in my hands. so far so good, thanks man

UM, event lights, no clue bud, and also, I am not sure but I have heard you CAN set the ring lights to certain numbers/names, just like ringtones, and that you can DL more Ring Lights from somewhere, but not sure where or how on either yet. ☹️ If you find out anything let me know, I love this phone! I am getting one for my fiance as well.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA! yes the lights just move in different motion, my favorite is Mania. The theme settings changes the colors of the UI. My favorite is tropical. As for the MP3 Ringtones question, you just use a USB port, through your charger, and you can DL MP3's and make them your ringtones. And yes they are quite loud. The speaker phone is a lil quiet on mine, but thats about it. Hope I get more ppl interested. Gunny you find anything out about the Lights, and how to use them for more things yet? Thanx 😎

Ok, the CHARGING port for the phone, is a USB port, the same as the kind of ports on the back of your computer, and if you buy a USB cable for your phone (just do a google search) you can IMPORT MP3's (songs) from your computer onto your phone, and then use those MP3's as your ringtones. Hope that explains everything LOL. And you need to buy the specific UBS cable for that phone, the Music Essentials Kit sold by Verizon is for either the Lg 8100 or the Samsung a950. Alright, any more q's let me know. BTW I sold 4 more v325 today 😁 I am loving this phone

I like my phone too, it’s a basic phone but it has so many good qualities. It's a rock solid performer. Thanks for the clarification. I'm going to pay the 2.99 through GIN and try out the nav system for the day while doing my errands tomorrow, should be pretty cool 😁

Hey D.A.U.A. Man...got this phone about a couple of weeks ago myself, and like You and Gunny, really like it also! It's a fantastic phone!! 😁 Like the feel of the outside...have yet to drop it...feels like it would not easily slip out of your fingers. Also like the feel of the keypad.

Signal's good and the sound quality is excellent! I tried it in the store calling my roommate against my old Samsung N330, a Nokia 6236i(which I was also considering) and the Moto V325...the V325 won hands down! My roommate said the other 2 phones sounded like I was talking on a speakerphone and the voice on my end on the other phones sounded "tinny", but the V325 has a nice deep tone to the earpiece, and callers have stated it sound's like I'm on a ...

Just had a thought about the "Event Light" setting...wondering if it's set to "on" it means if you've scheduled an event in your calendar, that it will signal the light's on the outside to flash also. Tried it a couple of times setting or scheduling something, did nothing. 🀭 ☹️ 😑 So still open for suggestions!

LOL I have not a clue yet what the Event Lights do that was my first question. I will find out: lol: I must agree with your mini review of this phone. It's an excellent phone perfect in so many ways. I'm trying the 2.99 nav system out tomorrow I will report back.

Hey Gunny, don't know if you tried the GPS yet, but it rocks. The phone actually TALKS to you. Like it will say "turn left in 20 feet" then when u get there it gets all forceful "turn left NOW" 🀣 I went on a random road trip to chicago from Ohio, just to try it out, and I mean, PERFECT. And can you beleive, most GPS tracking systems are $400+. This is a simple $215 even out right, only $25 after MIR at my store for TITU or New Act. Nutz eh? And the $2.99 charge for the one day usage, is cheaper and easier than stopping at a gas station, and buying a map LOL. I also have not found out what the "turn event lights off/on" does yet. It does not seem to affect the ring lights. Also has anyone found out if there are other ringli...

Finding answeres to any of the questions I askked about in the post above this one? "So far so good, thanx for the help, and your welcome :-)"? I really would like to know the answers to these, cuz if I can DL new ring light types with different colors, that would be the ****. They would be like Jedi Phones, red and green and blue. Come to the Dark Side 😈

I’m just blow away by the accuracy of the navigator and its ease of use. It gives current street location (bird eye also), place to input destination, and shortcut keys to bars, hotel, ATMs, Movie Theaters, etc. The voice direction is very clear with the perfect amount of warning. V325 Rocks

Unfortunately, none of the other phones on the market right now have an accurate enough GPS to make the Navigator worthwhile. Expect future phones from several companies to work with this, but nothing that's out right now will ever do so.

Why? Nextel and Sprint have had it for a while now.

Motorola's ViaMoto runs on the Nextel network, and TeleNav Inc.'s TeleNav runs on the Nextel and Sprint networks.

Right. None of the phones *we* sell have an accurate enough GPS to make the Navigator worthwhile. It just hasn't been something we've asked of our manufacturers. I expect there will be more companies who will submit their phones' GPSes to this test in the future, however.
