price of the V

I see the price of the V (9800) has gone down from 419.99 to 369.99.. Do you think the price will lower more anytime soon?

probably not, because there is no direct competition for it...price will prolly stay high.

No direct competition??? What about the sidekick with T-mo??? I have alot of hearing imparied customers interested in the V but they have also been using sidekicks if T-mo is in the area

i think he might mean a competition phone that Verizon is selling? But w/e...regardless, i want to buy this phone buts its going to have to be retail which was just lowered to 369.99. URgh 👿

I meant direct competition within verizon...so if you have verizon, they are gonna make you pay for it!

prices usually stay the same for 2-2 1/2 mos at a time. they just changed on the 5th. all this is for the west area at least so the price shouldnt change til probably mid may

well i can wait until may..But do you think this phone will be discontinued by then? Cause im really looking to get this phone. Just have to try to save up money if anything.

i really dont think the phone will be discontinued anytime soon. its too popular. have you tried looking for one on ebay? im also curious why people like this phone so much. the keyboard is cool but i can type a text msg way faster with t9. so does anyone have a good reason to pick this over the 8100?

what plans are these? the only thing the v has that the 8100 doesnt is wireless sync and im sure it will be avail on the 8100 in the next mo or so as they just launched it on the 8000. but yeah, i would really like to know what these plans are...
