Do all bluetooth pieces sux? :(
Im in the market for a new headset. I had the Jabra BT800 and it was ok, the only thing that bothered me was that it didnt respond quickly (took like 5 seconds to get a response). Perhaps I was too picky at this point...everything else was good about that unit except the response time... so I sold it and got the HS850.
I heard the HS850 was a fairly solid unit from reviews with a few flaws. When I got it I realized that the one big flaw with this is the volume. It is way too quiet and is totally unacceptable. I can barely hear it over my car engine with the windows up and music off...and my car is fairly new and quiet. Other than that the headset is great...but this headset isnt even an option because its useless unless you are in...

Been through a lot of them. Biggest problems were everything you mentioned, in addition to coming loose while walking at a brisk (as I do through airports). Just bought the Plantronics 510 Voyager and what a piece! 3 out of 5 people I talk to on a normal basis made comments the first day on how I sound so clear and different. Works like a charm with my E815.

Cool, thanks for the input - although after checking it out...Im not really into how it looks. I do care about quality but Im not going to lie, I do care about how it looks. that one just doesnt seem for me 🙂

Never did try the Jabra JX10...but a co-worker had one. It wound up getting caught in the wrong part of his briefcase and had a short life. It was quite flimsy. Was why I bought the one I've got...I have no mercy on it and it's very solid.
As for the H3...know nothing about it.

imo Yes they all suck, I have tried maybe about 10 or so and some are better then others, but in the end I just couldn't hang with any. Nothing beats putting the phone directly to my ear, plus I never got over the feeling that I was looking silly, Good Luck 🙂
