NE2 question...Being charged for 2 plans when re-signing?

I am currently eligble for the "new every 2" promotion and looking at the Motorola RAZR V3c as my upgrade phone. It looks like it will come out to be FREE (2-year contract with a new plan) after looking at the listing: $149.99 (online price) - $50.00 (online discount) - $99.99 (NE2 promo) = FREE. As I follow through with the procedure online to upgrade my phone and sign a new 2-year contract, I am given a prompt that my current plan would not work with this phone. I have to choose a new plan to be eligble for the phone. I don't mind because for the same price of $39.99, I can get 450 minutes (50 more minutes than my previous plan) plus "unlimited nights/weekends".

There may just be a glitch... the website has been recently updated (for example, the prompt you are getting is a new one... it is supposed to change your plan but it hadn't been offering it to people). Just make sure that you are logged into my account (which it sounds like you are) and only ordering 1 phone (not accidently starting a new one). From what I can see from your screen shot, it really is just a glitch. I would say order the phone and it will work out just fine or if you are worried, stop into a store and pay the 50.00 rebate and mail in to get it instead of taking it on line. If you order your phone and you see a dounle charge on the same phone line on your next bill (which I don't believe will happen)then call customer service ...
