I just got laid off from my current sales position with Kraft Foods, I've always wanted to go into the cell phone industry and this might be my chance. What I'm wondering is how much a rep can make working a full time schedule at a verizon wireless corporate store. I'm guessing its anywhere from $35000-$70000. Anyone who is willing to comment i would appreciate it. You dont have to be exact, i'll take a range, or feel free to email me if you dont wan't to put your business out there like that. Any input would really be appreciate. thanks in adnvance for your comments.

I work for an authorized agent and in 9 months I made about $16 grand. But compared to a retail store, I make pennies. If you meet your quota for sales, you can easily make $50+ g's from my understanding. Hope that helps.

A decent salesperson would make 35,000 to 45,000. A sales rep who does exceeds quota every month could make up to 70,000-80,000 /year depending on how much you exceed that quota

Honestly, I hate working for Verizon. But like I said I work for an authorized agent. I heard that main coporate stores there is a lot of pressure, and becuase of it Sales Reps do shady **** like add data packages to 90 year old womens phones. I have been shady before but not liek that. Treating ppl like dollar signs is BS and thats wat Verizon is all about. Its sad but its the truth. 😕

If you have Alltel up there, go to work with them. They pay very well and have great ins.

From what I have heard is you don't make that much in Corp.. Make pennies on Ne2 upgrades.. and the quotas are insane. Data rates have to be in the 200% and are goin up.. Which means you have to sell two data packages atleast per new line sale. So youre sellin grandma a nokia 2128 but she sure needs ringback tones and unlimited in txt.

I am coowner of a indirect store and my employees make an average of 15 an hour, but can make more depending on sales. Indirects vary on pay though so you have to look at that. If you can make 80 gs being a corporate sales person, thats impressive.

I can testify to being able to make $80,000 plus. The quotas are challenging but exceedable, as are the other goals, data sales, accessory sales, etc. I have not heard agents who make as much as the direct reps make.
