Verizon wireless expanding their prepaid service (through Walmart)

Wal-Mart Stores is expanding its prepaid wireless service offering through a deal with Verizon Wireless.

The carrier now sells its INpulse prepaid wirelessservice at 2,300 Wal-Mart locations in the United States.

Unlike other prepay plans, VZW allows
INpulse users to use an unlimited amount of in-network mobile to mobile calling for an additional $0.99 per day. Calls made outside the VZW network are charged $0.10 per minute.

While the INpulse service is prepaid, Verizon Wireless designed the plan to resemble a postpaid offering--giving customers access to unlimited in-network mobile-to-mobile calling privileges for $0.99 per day. Calls made outside the Verizon Wireless network cost $0.10 a minute.
