Could VZW customer service ratings be in danger?
I'm not trying to be to negative but let's just say that VZW went with this location because they only have to pay $7.00 an hour. On the flip side of that these people think that $7.00 an hour is great money. I also have a feeling that most of the VZW customers calling in will have a hard time understanding them because of their accents, but maybe it will not be as bad as I think. Hey, at least English is their native language.

I would have thought that most companies would follow the trend of placing call centers in areas of the country where there is a neutral accent and this place certainly doesn't fit that bill. It took me over ten years to loose mine.

It's an overflow call center... hopefully they'll be trained well. There's one here in Seattle too and they're pretty good too... bottoms up
They are adding 100 jobs so I thought that would be a little large to be an overflow. But then again I don't know how many people work at a normal call center.
