Thinking about leaving VZW for Cingular ?
Guys,
I am with VZW forever. I am gettign ready to try Cingular.. With the AT&T thing, SOunds like their network has gotten better and they say they get almost no dropped calls.
Can you guys share any thoughts on this ?
I really like the phones and I feel I need a change.
Most important to me is the voice quality. Does the GSM network compare ?

I am going to get a demo account on Cingular Tuesday I guess, What phone should I take ?

dont do IT!! dont do it! im on a trail run with cingular and tmobile right now and they both blow donkey balls. they suck so bad, i cant believe how much they blow.dead spots, dropped calls, lose signal all the time. im returing both pos phones and snuggle up with my verizon phone and apologize to it. I was wrong f it i love the red bars

yeah thats why I came to verizon way back in 2003. Cingular is just pathetic! I dont know why everyone sweats their phones? They arent any better than the vzw phones, i actually might prefer the vzw phones. And yeah the UI is annoying, but hopefully they will look into making it more customizable this year.

I CANNOT believe you! after all the trash you talked about vzw.... Where are you located? Both Cingular and Tmobile phones have no service where you are?

i dont have to jutify anything to you, i didnt say they had no service they have crap crap service hardly usable service. i can drive all over hell and back with my verizon phone and never drop a call. cingular is worse then tmobile, but tmobile sucked too. im on my phone all the time i cant put up with that. I admit i was wrong to think gsm could replace my verizon phone. i will shut my cake hole now and be very happy with my reliable as hell verizon service. my bad ass verizon phone is ringing, bye

Sure, I would recommend Cingular, as long as you don't mind not having service, and at least 4 dropped calls during one conversation. Take my word for it, stay as far away from cingular and t-mobile as you can. I switched from Cingular to Verizon one year ago and will NEVER go back to them, they are useless!!!! DEATH TO CINGULAR!!! 👿

im just blow away how horrible they are. i could never imagine that they would be that inferior. im so thankful for what i have now glad i just got new trial numbers and didnt port and have to deal with that mess

theatermax, dont listen to these poor excuses for testimonials. Try out Cingular and if there not what you want then you dont loose nothing but two weeks. But dont be persuaded by these few people Bi^^^ing about how crappy the service is. Im sure that most of the ppl havent even tryed the service there just complaining just to have something write.

Hey Anxiovert - I'm a Cingular customer about to leave Cingular for VZW. You know why Cingular sucks? They would rather sign up new customers than save the ones they have, like me. The service is awful. The customer service is horrible (CSRs like yourself). I made the biggest mistake by leaving VZW for Cingular because I liked the idea of "rollover."

the grass always looks greener on the other side. there is a reason why vzw's churn rate is the lowest in the industry. and theres a reason why vzw credits ur etf if you come back within 90 days, its b/c noone else compares to vzw, but by all means, leave, check out the other carrier, then come back just like everyone else, and they will waive ur etf. happy hunting

HERE GOES ANOTHER LOSER. He just wants a SLVR. He wants to show off to girls that he has a cool looking phone. Why dont you tell your dates that its a nice phone but onyl works sometimes and drops call like i drop flies in the summer.
Go ahead. switch to cingular. it will be funny when your begging verizon to take you back and your begging cingular to drop the 175 early termination fee.
