I am just excited about the fact that Cingular only has 33 markets that are 100% integrated and the test results already show that we have the best network in NY, NJ, HI and the San Francisco bay area.... and this is just the begining of the battle for the best network in the US.
What will verizon have to advertise once they can't say they have that damn over-filtered "most reliable network"? lol

San Francisco Bay area???....yeah right. Verizon is the most reliable in The SF BAY... period. Any phone user in the Bay on these forums can confirm that. I've been using phones in the bay since 1988...GTE, CellOne, Pac Bell Wireless (now Cingular) Etc. Verizon's own network tests, Consumer Reports and other outside companies have proven this too.
Also, check any of the local Bay area newspapers...San Jose Mercury News, SF Chronicle etc....readers always rate Verizon for best coverage, dropped calls etc.

In the West Area alone (12 Western States), for every customer that ports out from Verizon to Cingular, approx 3.2 customers port into Verizon from Cingular. Enough said.
Drive tests aren't a true measure of service as most drive tests are done along the major highways and roadways, were any service provider should have 1/2 way decent service
