Verizon's high marks don't surprise me. However, I can't understand T-Mob's high scores. Everyone I know with T-Mob has call quality problems.

thats b/c it is done by survey. no field tests were ever done to back up the claim. consumer reports is a much better study to look at b/c they test out the service with actual phones not with calling a couple thousand people like that is a representative sample of the 10s of millions of cell phone users
Consumer report DID NOT test anything!
They SURVEYED some plp who subscribe to the mag and came out with their results.
The name of the magazine is CONSUMER REPORTS. Hello?

Anxiovert:
Consumer Reports surveyed way more than "some plp who subscribe to the mag". In fact, the cell phone service ratings on page 23 of their January 2006 issue "are based on 50,515 responses from ConsumerReports.org subscribers surveyed in September 2005."
Now where did i put my RF meter and that dam/\/ test probe!
