VZW: Block fetures on phones they shouldn't; removing IN calling from customers plans without permission; higest $/min of any carrier.
Sprint: History of cust svc problems; doesn't work in rural (unless you have free roaming, and even then your battery drains fast and adv. features don't work.)
Cingular: Roaming isn't even an option; cust svc problems in past; rollover is a lure to bigger plans.
T-Mobile: Worst coverage area. Trouble even in city areas.
US Cellular: Regional carrier.
So, pick the one you want, and quit whining.
BTW, I have both VZW and Cingy, and the Cingy phone is the only one that works at work, and works a hell of a lot better than the VZW one at home. And since we are...

Of course roaming isn't an option.....you just can't use the phone!!
I tried to get Cingular because of their plans/options and great deals for USPS carriers, but they just don't have the coverage in many parts of rural Michigan; not even offered in my zipcode. There's a reason why most mail carriers in our area have Verizon, and it's not the cost.
