i don't know why they would the windows mobile 5.0 is amazing, all of the functions and features are so easy to use and the phone is very smart in the way it recongnizes what you are doing and where you are at in the phone. I want one so bad why would they go back to the palm software?

Its the same debate as the UI on vzn's regular cell phones. Some like it, some don't. yeah, windows 5.0 might be great for some, but some just prefer the palm OS...to each his or her own...I just wish they would give us these kind of options on the regular cell phones that vzn sells.

"jcoberg10", consider this. Not all of us use Windows. I for one use a MAC.

On an off I thought that a Treo would be a good deal for me, I recently learned differently. My son got a 700w and a huge disappointment to me is that when you are in data mode (i.e. sending/receiving email) any incoming calls go right to voice mail. Though not a huge issue for my son, this would be a major problem for me.

Bottom line; still looks like I need to carry a Verizon RAZR and a tMobile Blackberry.

I use a mac as well. Great point that i did not even think about. The world would be a better place if more people used macs
