when you are on ebay make sure you look at the sellers feedback score...only go with a person who has a high one...also you can look at comments people have left him to see if he has sold other phones and what the buyer had said to him...thats how i got mine..just make sure it say verizon as well..if you do all that you should be fine and not get screwed

My experiences buying and selling phones on ebay has been good, however, I’ve generally dealt with older model used phones. I think for a new-in-box, newer model, higher end phone like an 815 that you will pay close to what VZW would charge for a new full retail price 815.

See if you can get a really great deal from a highly rated seller and go for it if you can. But if your only saving a few bucks, I think you are better off buying directly from Verizon.

Beware of the evil PayPal! Even though eBay & PayPal tout how great they are, if someone doops you out of money and they start an investigation (which goes nowhere) that doesn't end in your favor the only recourse is contact your bank. Thats when PayPal gets pissy...
