Well the 670 isn't nearly as old as the phones i have right now..a couple months ago i had a really nice LG 6000 and that phone kicked ass...but i have a bit of a temper and i threw it down on the rd and it blew into pieces...so right now i have a moto T720, good phone but very old..i also have an LG 4400 on another plan...its a pretty old phone as well

My wife still uses the LG 4400 - about 3-3 1/2 yrs now, I believe. I kept my 4400 as a backup in case something happens to my 8100, or if I know I'm going to need analog somewhere.

i wouldnt consider it old but why would you go from a phone loaded with features to a phone that is nice but doesnt have quite as many?

The only things that the e815 has the 9900 doesn't are:

1. EVD0--I dont even use it, so it doesn't bother me not to have it.

2. Bluetooth--Tried it on the e815, but never really got into the whole headset thing and of course verizon cripples all of the other features.

3. Mini SD--once again, i never used it, and i never planned on using it.

The 9900, has all of the other features the e815 has and maybe more, and the phonebook is great! I really got sick of the ridiculous moto phone book, as well as that low battery beep. I also didnt like itap as much as traditional t9. Plus the reception on my 9900 is more consistent than on my 815.

Check the reviews on the 9900 on this website, its probably the highest rated verizon phon...

well i guess if you never used those features they would be pretty pointless..and i know where your comin from with the whole iTap thing..T9 is so much better..the only feature that i would really use is them memory card so that i would put some mp3's on the phone...

As far as cellphone, mine is over a year & a half old, my Samsung a650. I otherwise would still be using my Motorola 120c, which is just a paperweight today. I picked the Samsung a650 when I upgraded from a candybar phone to a flip phone. I wanted analog for backup, and there were only 3 phones available that I would have considered at the time: Audiovox CDM8900, Audiovox CDM8600, & Samsung a650 for tri-mode. I read too many bad reviews on CNet.com from people who own the Audiovox CDM 8600 because of reception, and not as bad reviews for the Audiovox CDM8900. I wasn't happy with Motorola's performance the last time, and didn't want Motorola 2nd time around. My mind told me to get the Samsung a650 because Samsung usually makes good phon...

I know a lot of people out there are still using them, but I had a customer come in last night with a startac. It still worked great and I told her not to get rid of it.

My wifes battery on her A610 died and only a month-ish from upgrade date so I activated the Samsung A310 for a bit. We should have spankin' new Pink RAZR and pinky Bluetooth tomorrow so the A310 will be back on the bench.

It was a great phone in its day though. I think it was the first VZ GPS E911 phone for VZ but I could be wrong. Anyway, good phone unless you charge it most of the time with a car charger, the the batteries would get a little steamy.....
