Don't be. Nokia makes great phones, especially bar phones. They are normally very durable and have the greatest reception. I would recommend a nokia all day long.

What do you want your phone to do for you? Verizon currently cares 3 bar phone.

2128 - really simple for making and receiving phone calls. Extras: speakerphone, flashlight.

6236 - camera phone, excellent choice if you are looking for something durable. Extras: speakerphone, camera, FM radio.

9800 (The V) - the most advanced bar (well, not really, but still) phone. Extras: camera, speakerphone, BT, voice command, MP3 player, navigation and more.

Which do think is right one for you?

The Nokia rep was in the store the other day and said we were getting a slider phone from them soon. Sorry, no more info than a rumor.

Or better yet, find a 6015 off of ebay. I still carry that phone because of reception. I have sold them to people that NOT ONE other phone would work where they live.
