Sprint Nextel Announces Yet Another New MVNO
Sprint Nextel Corp. plans to launch a new mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) which would offer wireless services on Sprint Nextel's network under the new brand name Squint. Squint products and services will be marketed through national vision care and eyewear specialists Lenscrafters, who operate more than 850 retail locations nationwide. In an intro promotion, new customers will receive free magnifying lenses as a gift-with-purchase, in order to better make out Squint's national voice and data coverage maps. Their new ad campaign uses the creative slogan “Can You See Us Now?”
